In a group of six we had to create a character that represented a borough in London. Are borough was Lewisham. We had to roam around the uni to find materials that we could use.

Mono Printing

To help with idea for are final major project, we have been asked to attend workshops. My first workshop was Mono Print. Its a technique that i haven't experienced or heard of before. Its fast and easy to learn. Your able to create really effective graphic pieces of work. The more you do the better they get. To further this workshop I will look into using more then one colour paint and look into using different pieces of paper.

Stefan Sagmeister

Really been interested in some of Stefan Sagmeister work. I like the fact that you have to look in depth of his work to see his thought process of the final piece.

Final product....... ANGER!!

THIS IS THE FINAL OUTCOME PERFUME BOTTLE CALLED ANGER!! To get to the perfume bottle you have to smash the ball. The perfume bottle will to covered in rubber so when the ball is thrown and broken the perfume bottle will not break. The broken bit of glass would break down into tiny piece that are not dangerous and you wouldn't cut yourself. The aspect of throwing the ball came back in are previous research.

More Prototypes

So seeing the problems from the last prototype, we produced more. Two with thick glass the spray painted black and white. Then another in a bronze thin glass and black thin glass. Doing this we was able to compare what look more like a final product. We decided to go for the spray painted black and white thinner glass as it looked more like a finished product that could be sold.

Similar packaging!!

Shapes found at the Science Museum. They're known as 'Polyhedrons'. The shapes reminded me a lot to do with are anger packaging design. From these picture it can help us develop into something more.

Prototype one!!!

This is are first prototype. Continuing using the glass we experimented with the way of opening the ball. We wanted the ball to be frustrating to open for or consumer so we looked into the screw to.
Problems with the screw top was that we couldn't find a frustrating way to opening the ball. Plus when you did try to open the ball the sharp glass cut your fingers which isn't very practical.
The second problem is it was to hard to match the two different pieces of glass to the line so that it wasn't visible. This was difficult as the pieces of glass touched each other and knock the pieces of glass off and it wasn't possible to get the exact position from where it started with. So lots of changes need to be changed.
